Motivation is a magical thing.
Whenever I feel short of motivation, I look at this photo.
When I first picked up a camera — and especially when I started photographing combat sports — I could never have imagined standing next to Jonathan Haggerty, taking a photo with him, filming one of his seminars, or simply having the chance to talk with him.
Hard work, consistency and genuine love for what you do can take you to places you never even dreamed of.
So when there is something I need to do — even if I do not particularly enjoy it — I look at this photo and remind myself: we get it done. It does not matter how big or small the task is. Every finished job is another brick in the wall you are building.
Will I achieve the success I want? I do not know. But when I look back at the people and places this journey has already brought me to, I feel that it may not be as far away as it once seemed.
