Testing DZIK Magnesium + B6

Testing DZIK Magnesium + B6 – Does It Make a Difference?

Recently, I’ve been paying more attention not only to training, equipment and recovery, but also to some of the more basic things our bodies need. One of them is getting enough magnesium.

So, it’s time for another little test. This time I’m trying DZIK Magnesium + B6, available from Nara-Style. I’ve started taking two capsules every evening and I’m going to see whether, after a few weeks of regular use, I notice any real difference.

Why magnesium?

Magnesium is one of the essential minerals our bodies need to function normally. Among other things, it contributes to normal muscle function and the normal functioning of the nervous system. It also supports normal energy metabolism and contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

For anyone who trains, works long hours or simply leads a busy life, that certainly makes magnesium worth taking a closer look at.

The DZIK supplement uses magnesium citrate, a popular and well-absorbed form of magnesium, together with vitamin B6. The recommended daily serving of two capsules provides 180 mg of magnesium and 2 mg of vitamin B6.

Should everyone start taking magnesium?

Not necessarily.

A normal, balanced and varied diet should always be the foundation. A supplement is exactly what the name suggests – something intended to supplement your diet, not replace it.

And more definitely doesn’t always mean better. Taking too much magnesium from supplements can cause digestive problems, including diarrhoea and stomach discomfort.

People with kidney problems should be particularly careful, and magnesium can also interfere with the absorption of certain medicines. If you regularly take medication or have an existing medical condition, it makes sense to speak to your doctor or pharmacist before adding a supplement and to check whether it needs to be taken separately from your medication.

So what am I doing?

Nothing complicated.

Two capsules every evening, consistently, and then I’ll see what happens.

I’m not expecting miracles after three days and I’m certainly not going to convince myself that something is working simply because I want it to. I’ll give it some time and then report back on whether I’ve noticed anything worth talking about.

Will it make a noticeable difference to tiredness, recovery or simply how I feel day to day?

We’ll see.

This is going to be much more of a real-life test than a laboratory analysis. That’s really the whole point.

DZIK Magnesium + B6 is available from Nara-Style.

As always, we test things properly and without promising miracles. If I use it and think there is a genuine benefit, I’ll say so. And if I don’t notice any difference, I’ll say that too.
